Behind the Brand
-
Founder / Pastry Chef / Creative Director
What started as a mission to create gluten-free and dairy-free foods and desserts for my fiancé, who lives with celiac disease, quickly became a passion I couldn't ignore.
As a mother and lifelong creative, I fell in love with the artistry of baking and the joy desserts can bring to life's biggest moments. I realized I could use that creativity to create something meaningful for people who are often given limited options at restaurants, events, etc.
Indigo was created with one simple belief: gluten-free should never feel like a compromise. I want to create elevated desserts that people with dietary restrictions - are genuinely excited to experience—not simply a “safe” alternative or an afterthought.

Chef/ Sales/ Client Relations
With a background in professional kitchens and entrepreneurship, Adam brings his love of food, culinary experience, and firsthand perspective to Indigo. His experience with gluten-free living has played a big role in helping shape our recipes, flavors, and approach to creating desserts that don't feel like an alternative.
He's also the person behind a lot of the conversations, connections, and ideas happening behind the scenes — helping bring the Indigo vision to more people throughout Pittsburgh.
